Write a persuasive argument regarding your chosen topic. You will be persuasive in your argument by providing numerous examples of supporting evidence for your thesis.
The Task:
• Write 3-4 pages arguing for or against your chosen topic: How long is it acceptable to stay in a restaurant after finishing your meal?
• Persuade your reader to support your notion (thesis) by using Pathos, Ethos, and Logos.
• You need to be subjective in your argument; consider how your topic affects a larger range of people, not just you. Therefore, stay away from making this a personal, passionate piece.
• Incorporate at least two credible resources that either support your side of the argument or that you might want to argue against.
• Finally, your essay must be appropriately formatted in MLA, including your article(s), which must be appropriately cited both within your essay and Works Cited page.
What to Write About:
• Explain why there is a problem.
• Offer solutions to the problem.
• Why is this topic relevant?
• Why should we care?
• How does this it affect people?
• What are the positives and negatives of this topic?
• Do not limit yourself to these questions. Explore more ideas so that you can create an effective and sound argument
