Digital marketing is becoming an attractive approach to business, especially in the SME sector. Digital marketing emerged to solve various challenges that
faced businesses in the traditional marketing processes. The challenge of the cost of marketing is severe for SMEs because traditional marketing platforms
like radio and television are creating a burden for SMEs. Digital marketing, however, emerged to address such problems by creating a cost-effective platform
through which businesses can market their brands at a reduced cost, based on Malesev and Cherry (2021). Digital marketing processes target social media
platforms and company websites, which should attract many customers. However, companies should also improve their efforts in developing these digital
marketing systems in ways that make them meaningful and attractive to potential customers. This proposal shall also identify some of the literature
materials or articles which should aid the study of the topic under analysis.
