Answer

Communist Eastern Europe

By the end of World War II, different powerful nations overcame what they saw as a weak nation in Eastern Europe. Poland, Baltic States, and Hungary are among the states that went to war with the British, Americans, Nazi Germany, and the Soviets in the eighteenth century. These wars were directly linked to the establishment of communist governments in the eastern Europe.

The video “The Soviet Union and Eastern Europe” speaks of Soviet domination over the Eastern European nations. As a result of World War II, the Soviet Union came up with Operation Bagration, which led to Eastern Europe’s liberation and conquest of most Eastern European nations by the Soviets. Soviets took advantage of the dropping economy in Eastern Europe, the existence of authoritarian governments, and the exclusion of Germans, particularly the Nazis. The Soviets, however, faced some barriers in their quest to spread communism in Eastern Europe. The European economy has dropped immensely, making it hard for Stallion and his army to improve. The Soviet Union had to deal with subordinate policies to their needs, forcing them to use crude and brutal methods on liberated nations to accept communism. However, the barriers did not stop them from moving forward (6.Communist Eastern Europe.mp4, 2021).

Poland is one of the notable nations that fought their way to become a nation despite the Soviets’ and other nations’ pressure. In their quest, Poland in 1918 took parts of Russia, Germany, Lithuania, and Austria. Although the revolution and conquest weakened these nations, they sought revenge from Poland. The Soviet Union took advantage of the situation to fight against Poland and bring the branded revolution over Europe. In 1920, the Soviet Union surprisingly took Poland to war, famously called the Battle of Warsaw, where Poland emerged victoriously. In 1939 however, Germany attacked Poland and was joined by the Soviet Union to divide Poland into two occupational zones. Through a series of conferences, the alliance between Germany and the Soviet Union crippled the Polish society in all aspects possible to a slave nation by destroying most Poland leaders’ mass destruction in Katyn (6.Communist Eastern Europe.mp4, 2021).

The remaining Polish soldiers who did not team up with American and British regrouped and formed the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. The Germans put down the uprising after the Soviets did not finish up the Nazis as initially planned. Poland’s defeat had the British, Americans, and the Soviet Discuss and concluded how to expand Polish boundaries for their awards, among other burning issues. Among the issues discussed were London poles, who were sent to Moscow and later captured by Stallion, who charged them with multiple counts in 1945. This act led to the end of London’s Polish involvement in post-war. The destruction of Poland brought Soviets one step to creating a communist government (6.Communist Eastern Europe.mp4, 2021).

The Baltic States belonged to the Russian Empire by the 18th century before the attack. By the end of the First World War, when German lost on Russia’s attack, the Baltic States remained independent. It remains that way even after the alliance between Germans and the Soviet Union until the Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact in 1939. The soviets dominate the Baltic States in 1940 before the Germans conquer in 1941. Operation Barbarossa brings the states back under the rule of the Soviet Union, which saw the destruction of any Estonian symbol of independence. On the other side, Hungary joined forces with Nazi Germany after World War I before Stallion took Hungary’s control to root communism (6.Communist Eastern Europe.mp4, 2021)

The liberation period under Operation Bagration saw a struggle between nations which led to the formation of a communist government. Despite the resistance and the wars, Stallion was particularly determined to have the Soviet Union take control of Eastern European countries. Eventually, through wars, deception, and pressure, the Soviets achieved their goal. By the end of 1959, various forms of governance emerged, including multi-parties and governments’ coalition resulting from a communist government.
