Answer
E-cigarettes, also known as vapes, are becoming progressively popular amongst teens because they think that since e-cigarettes are smokeless, it means they are harmless. By 2017, two million middle and secondary school learners stated that they use e-cigarettes (Cullen 2). In collaboration with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), I created a PSA dubbed “The Real Price”. The objective of this campaign PSA is to inform at-risk teenagers on the dangerous impacts of e-cigarette smoking. I have created this PSA with a target of reaching five million youths aged twelve to eighteen who have used, are using or are open to using the e-cigarettes. To tackle the cost-free mindset existing in most middle and high schoolers, this campaign message concentrates on enlightening the adolescence that using e-cigarettes same as cigarettes puts them at-risk of addiction and other health diseases like cancer. The campaign’s primary message is “What can smoking take away? It can take away fresh breath, a strong immune system and healthy lungs.” This message motivates the teenagers to reevaluate what they contemplate they know concerning smokeless tobacco usage (CDC 1), because tobacco product usage is begun and instituted mainly during puberty.
