Answer
Technologies for Communication and Media
This research paper acknowledges the use of technology in collecting, organizing, and presenting information to target audiences. The following technologies are preferred in handling the identified situations.
- Creating Online Presentations for a Manager
The most basic technologies for data collection, organization and creation of presentations is an internet enabled personal computer, laptop, or any smart device with the Microsoft Office application or any other tools for preparing presentations. When using Microsoft Word for instance, the person will use Microsoft Power Point to generate slides together with visual images, audio, and speaker notes to guide the presentation of the research findings to the manager (Alqurashi, 2019). The internet will be useful in accessing websites to retrieve the required research data. Besides, it is used to share the presentation with the manager.
- Creating a face-to-face presentation on a business project for a live audience and online audience
The most suitable technologies include an internet enabled laptop device for collecting information on the internet and also facilitating the transmission to the online audiences. The second technology is a projector. It is used to magnify the presentation from a laptop by projecting it on a larger surface to make it more visible to the live audience. According to Brown (2020), the online audience can access the presentation through the zoom software application, where they will be provided with a password and a link to access the presentation.
- Online training session accessible anytime
Creating the presentation requires a laptop or any other internet enabled devices with software applications that support the development of presentations. The information can then be shared via mobile phones to the recipients who can have unlimited access to the training tools. Besides, the organization can maintain a dedicated social media page for ease of access by all the employees enrolled for the online training sessions.
- Facilitating Group Meetings
Facebook live is a viable technology for facilitating group meetings and sharing of work among leaders in diverse time zones (Eginli & Tas, 2018). Basically, the Facebook live feature enables sharing of links for presentations done thus, allowing interested persons to access to content at any time regardless of their location and time zone.
