Powers of the US  Supreme Court about Court cases that Originate at The State Level

Yes. It is appropriate that one court such as the  Supreme court be vested with the power to be given the final say concerning cases that originate from the  State level for the benefit of the parties involved. Under Article III, Section II of the Constitution, the Supreme Court has the original jurisdiction to hear the majority of cases that are at the State level (Courts, n.d.).Besides,it has the mandate to preside over any case that results from an appeal from any other court. Since the Supreme court has the power to do the judicial review, it can help avert any contravention of the rule of law by other courts at the State level. Moreover, the supreme gives the final chance for a disgruntled party that never received justice in the courts at the State level to be heard (Courts, n.d.). Since it is the highest court in the land, it also plays a great role in ensuring that other arms of the government do not abuse their powers. One significant role that the Supreme Court has played is ensuring that  US citizens obtainjustice (Courts, n.d.).For instance, cases of students that came before the Supreme court have been ruled in favor of students.

Impact of the Political Nature of the Presidential Appointment and Life Terms for Supreme Court Case Justices

There is no negative impact since the Supreme Court justices have lifetime tenure. Once a Justice has been appointed by the president, they are no longer bound to them politically but mandated to execute their duties independently  (Callahan & Meltsner,2018). Furthermore, they can only be relieved of their duties if they resign or opt to take early retirement.

Fair and Impartial review of the US Supreme Court

There are several instances that the US Supreme Court has proved to be biased in its decisions and landmark cases (Johnson,2002). One such notable case was the glaring discrepancies witnessed in the presidential elections where President George emerged the winner (Johnson,2002). Besides, there were fears that the judges that would be appointed by the incoming president would lean towards supporting the ideologies of the Conservative party at the expense of the Liberals or Democrats.
