The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development identifies 17 Goals this research is focusing in on the initiative 2 “zero hunger”. Current food intiatives have not been enough to continue to keep up with the ever growing population. As the elderly begin to live longer and more families growing with time, the need for resources grows with no stop in sight. What is the world as a whole doing to break this hunger cycle and what are local governments and cooperations doing to bring these efforts to fruition.
this research is wanting to focus more into the idea of food security in lesser developed nations and what intitatives are possible to be put in place to create a sustainable food source for these locations. This will delve into current populations who may be on the brink of food security loss, the neighboring nations efforts to assist, what actions could be put into place locally and look at the world’s well developed nations’ plans for global outreach.
