Two things to think about here. How will our families continue to change and grow in the future? What effect will technology have on our family structure?
On another note, what about people without family? People whose parents die when they are grown. People who have no extended family, kids who age out of foster care. We are assuming in most of this course that all people have family. This is not true for many? Can you build your own family? Are there ways we can help a person create their own family or help support a person while they gather this social capital?
