client is engaged in. This should include a strong rationale for why the area you have selected is important,
illustrated in part by information on the prevalence and consequences of this issue. Using the empirical
descriptive literature, explain why this issue should be of concern, the role of forensic social work and the
theories related to this practice. You should examine the range of psychological, social, and fiscal
consequences of the problem for the client, family, community, and society. There should be a clear assessment
and discussion on social justice and intersectionality. What are the best interventions or treatment for this
population? What are the system barriers to addressing the issues identified?
