Answer
Abortion; Not a Birth Control Means
Thesis
While abortion remains a significant practice in the cases where the lives of either the mother and the baby or both are involved, it should never be used as a means to control birth.
Justification
A persuasive essay demands that one successfully convinces the audience by not merely mentioning the negative aspects but presenting them with the options, so they see through the more precise picture. As Tiwari (2019) outlines, the thesis statement should be such that it is not subjective but objective. From my thesis, the objectivity is apparent, as it creates room for the audience to develop their stand. I am not explicit as to the side I take about abortion. Ideally, this creates room for the readers to build their initial viewpoints. Their established perceptions then create the need for me to persuade them to see from my perspective. Therefore, it is imperative that one identifies the positive elements to the issue or topic, and explain to the audience the various advantages.
As regards the research question, my study endeavors to answer the question of whether abortion should be legalized in the various facets of human lives. Taking the issue into perspective, intricately expounding on the different sides is imperative. The thesis prompts the audience to develop some curiosity, which the researcher then solves by giving various answers (Andrew, 2013). For this reason, it will be vital to discuss the implications of abortion when used for purposes other than in cases where the lives of mother and baby are involved. By progressively developing the topic, and taking a standpoint, the audience would finally shift sides and see the need to embrace my viewpoint.
