Age range of a traditional college student

Reflect on the following statistics from 2019: In the last 12 months, 75% of college students felt overwhelmed and exhausted by everything they had to do. In the last 12 months, 55% of college students felt very lonely. In the last 12 months, 45% of college students felt hopeless. Approximately 60% of college students show signs and symptoms of depression and/or anxiety. Go digging. Why is this happening? This is much higher than the national average (18% anxiety and 8% depression). Is there something unique about the age range of a traditional college student? Is there something else going on? Why do you think the rates are so high? What do you think could help lower the rates?
