Applying organizational culture theory.

Reflect on your ethnographic study of a previously unknown organization, applying organizational culture theory. a. Visit an organization that you have been to before. Before the visit, research or talk to people familiar with gaining access. During your stay, take notes and try to understand how it communicates internally and externally. Look at what is visible in the organization (the ‘tip,’ the design, the artifacts, the products, services, and the interaction of people), and then figure out or think of the invisible (the ‘iceberg,’ the beliefs, values, and fundamental assumptions, and its self-image) that lie beneath the visible.
