Indeed, global warming has been making its way into remote regions. Notably, you have correctly stated that – according to scientists – increasing sea surface temperature in the tropics is the main reason for warming. Consequently, it is also true that the hotter temperatures lead to breaking of the ice sheet in Antarctica, hence raising the global sea level by 200 feet. As such, it affects millions of vulnerable people. Additionally, it is also spot-on that there is a change in the rates of cooling, making global warming a significant problem that various agencies need to address. However, since it was scientific, it would have been more convincing and appealing if figures were incorporated.
