Christopher Columbus: A Historical figure
There are many prominent historical figures that one would wish to bring back to life. Personally, I am muddled between bringing Abraham Lincoln and Christopher Columbus back to life. Nonetheless, when given the chance, I would see Christopher Columbus back in life since he was a talented and brave mariner, whose resolute determination during exploration exposed Americans to European colonization, brought many benefits of western civilization to the US citizens and the imperceptible glory and wealth to Europe. Principally, as a brave mariner he maintained peace and dialogue and only resorted to war when Spanish explorers directed aggression towards him and his men. Despite the war waged by the Spanish explorers, Columbus tried all means possible and exposed the Native Americans to Christianity so that they could be saved from unending suffering.
When Columbus is brought back to life, his preferred mobile application would be Google Maps. In the modern society, Columbus would be keen to avoid making the previous mistake he made while traveling and exploring various regions across the world. Although Google map currently covers almost all regions of the world, when Columbus is brought back to life, its reach and accessibility will be restricted to only remote areas of the world. Just like in the past where Columbus was a reckoning navigator who carried out experiment with celestial navigation to measure his latitude, he would now use Google map to discover other untrodden ways of accessing newer hills, islands, as well as, other destinations. More importantly, when Columbus is brought back to life, he will be interested in discovering people, food, and slight scenes that he would encounter in the course of his exploration. Undoubtedly, Google map would assists him to access places he has never accessed in the past.
