Question 1
The stories in the Communist Rhapsody and Lucky meet Mao’s directives in the Yan’an Talks. Studies indicate that during the Yan' an Talks, Mao presented different directions that writers must follow. For instance, Mao directs that writers must have a class stand, and on most occasions, the philosophy is that of the commonality and the masses (Dong, 2018). The other directive is attitude. Mao indicates that from a writer’s stand, there follow specific attitudes towards significant concerns. For instance, the writer must identify if he/she aims to extol or expose. On most occasions, the attitude to utilize is often decided by the type of audience. Mao in the Yan’ an Talk indicates that it is essential to understand and recognize the kind of people to be addressed (Dong, 2018). Mao's directives in the Yan'an talk emphasizes that writers are obligated to know Marxism-Leninism.
The two stories, Lucky and Communist Rhapsody, have utilized some of the directives presented in the Ya’an Talks. For instance, in the Communist Rhapsody, the author takes a stand by using an imaginative writing style described as scientific fantasy. Moreover, in both Lucky and the Communist Rhapsody, the author utilizes descriptive and straightforward language to ensure that the audiences follow up with every activity in the stories (Jiang, 2020). The Ya'an Talks was essential since it aimed to educate the writers on other literature and art aspects. Moreover, Yan’ an Talk was based on informing writers that writing can be utilized as a type of combat, particularly during the war episodes between Japan and China (Zhang, 2019). Mao encouraged the writers to become revolutionary writers and present their ideas through writing. The Communist Rhapsody and Lucky share this perspective since they are focused on discussing China's revolution process.
Question 2
The Communist Rhapsody has a significant value based on aesthetics and beauty. For instance, in terms of beauty, the Communist Rhapsody utilizes simple images for the audience to follow up with the incidents emerging throughout the story (Lee, 2019). Moreover, the author of the story employs the first-person approach making it easy for the audience to discover the change of attitudes occurring in the story. On the other hand, Lucky has a significant value based on current relevance to human affairs. Unlike the Communist of the Rhapsody, which utilizes the first-person approach, Lucky's author narrates a story about a young man who anticipated he would help his community one day.
Lucky is a valuable story given that the author utilized simple language that can be understood by different individuals. Moreover, Lucky has enormous value in terms of current relevance to human affairs since it’s a story that the author utilizes to communicate the revolution's impact. Compared to other accounts, such as the Communist Rhapsody, Lucky is a better story since the author goes step by step to explain Lucky's journey (Jiang, 2020). The author's approach utilizes direct and straightforward language, making it better since younger ones can understand it, and they can easily relate the story to real-life situations. For instance, the author informs the audience about Lucky and the characteristics that make him unique from other individuals in that era. While reading the story, the audiences can create pictures in their mind regarding the incidents occurring throughout the story.

Assessing Risk and Reward
The Nissan Motor Company is one of the leading automobile makers in the world. The Japanese carmaker has primarily enjoyed a successful run, allowing it to enter various regional and international markets such as the United States. However, the changing business environment was not favorable to the company in 2019. Notably, the cooperation recorded losses amounting to 7.8%. The experience pushed the management into making tough decisions, requiring almost all of its North American workforce to go for unpaid leaves.
In late 2019, the company announced that the decline in sales necessitated a two-day unpaid leave for the North American workers. The stated days for the vacation were January 2 and 3rd (Chicago Tribune, 2019). Notably, this move was a crucial decision for the company because of its conflicting impacts. Whereas on the positive side, it could help the firm minimize expenses, it threatened to affect the public perception of the company regarding employee welfare.
The rewards for the decision involved cutting expenses by not paying the workers on leave, which eventually would translate into reduced expenses. Another reward was that the decision could allow the company to optimize performance by evaluating employee performances then developing new milestones. However, on the low side, the company risked affecting its public image and brand name, especially in the North American market. As per Chakravorti (2010), the way an organization treats its employees influences the firm's public perception. Thus, Nissan risked eliciting a negative public perception. With a distorted public image, the company could fail to revive its declining sales.
I would have advised the management of Nissan to utilize the Predictive Analytic perspective in determining the right decision to take. Ideally, the approach tries to predict what might happen in the future if particular decisions or actions are undertaken at the moment (Traymbak & Aggarwal, 2019). Looking at the situation at Nissan, the company needed to develop a goal such as increasing sales. After that, they would have made decisions aimed at realizing the set goal. In this regard, the predicted outcome could give the management an overview of whether more risks existed or significant rewards could be realized.
