Critical analysis of curriculum development and conceptual progression in their own teaching context Critique curriculum design using accessible documentation (curriculum documents and/or textbooks etc.) and professional practice in the UAE context in terms of learning progression by doing the following: • Analyse, compare and contrast ideas about relevant curriculum development theories and the curriculum progression for a specific issue or challenge in their professional context. • Relate the critique to their own classroom experience of this issue or challenge and suggest evidence informed solutions to address the issue. • Support the essay with relevant references – peer reviewed articles, seminal work, from key authors in the field. The length of the written essay is 1500 words (excluding references). Organization and structure follow the APA 7th edition: Introduction, body and conclusion; references and mechanics (spelling & grammar)
