    This paper presents a rough draft of training manual for House Keeping position. The training manual is divided into four sections: job description, list of tasks, training and evaluation sheets.

    Job description

    This will be categorized into:

    • Synopsis.

    Brief description of the overall duties and responsibilities underlying the housekeeping position.

    • Housekeeper responsibilities. 

    The responsibilities will be guided by the main function of the housekeeper which is to perform and maintain cleanliness in the work areas as well as maintaining their work equipment.

    • Housekeeper requirements

    Discusses on the required skills and capabilities, education and training as well as the experience required.

    List of tasks

    The lists of task will outline the activities related to the profession and the training program. this may include activities such as cleaning or custodian –related tasks.

     

    Training

    This section will describe the training requirements which will include: training requirements, training methods, training aid and skill development. The training manual will outline the purpose, objectives, and requirements of the conflict management training. Within the training section, the guidelines and procedure related to resolution and conflict prevention will be discussed. This will include a time frame whereby each activity will be allocated a specific time to be carried.  The expectations from both the trainer and the trainees will be highlighted to enlighten both teams on the Dos and Donts (Tra,2020). This will include personal appearance, room requirements , roo, check, language  and the standard operation procedures

    Evaluation Sheet

    An evaluation sheet serves as a document to assess and evaluate performance of the employees which reflects on the effectiveness of the training. The purpose of the sheet will be to determine how well the training achieved its goals. Also the evaluation will help identify areas in the training program that need improvement. The evaluation form will include close ended questions that will purpose to measure satisfaction rates of each individual participant in the training.
