      Personal Statement

     I have always had a strange fascination with managing people. As a matter of fact, a long-term career in that discipline remains my definitive goal. However, as a professional Information Technologist, I perceive people as part of the computer system, and I believe both can be utilized to good effect to engender the kind of change I envision if I am hired in your organization.

     During my formative years as a junior primary schooler, as I journeyed across the country,  seeking basic education in the public schools,  I had always pondered on what information technology would do to solve perennial resource management challenges particularly on flooding, and pollution of ground and surface water sources.

     My academic trajectory has always been focused on business and through in depth study of pragmatic principles that would facilitate access to opportunities to further my knowledge. Since then, my interest has developed in leaps and bounds leading to the award of degree in International Business in from Birmingham City University in 2010. I consider myself fortunate to have had a consistency in my disciplines of study and from junior high school to University.

     My professional journey in computer studies, hardware engineering and total Immersion English Programmer IELTS   5.5will be helpful in My foray into computer systems years’ back was aided to a large extent by numerous hands on experiences from which I learnt valuable insights from new theories, principles and concepts. For instance, during the 2019 summer holiday, I was offered a chance to retreat to the Sri Lankan city of Dhaka from which I benefitted from skillsets obtained from a three months voluntary work. While my time in the city only lasted a month, I found it extremely helpful as it accorded me the chance to                                                                                                                                                         encounter challenges for which answers are sought. I was also afforded a rare chance to assist in developing the company’s database. I also had a stint at the manager’s I had a practical exposure to the decision making process and models as well as the risks accompanying each role.

     My ultimate desire is to enhance my expertise in both computer systems business management and to acquire new competencies in preparation for rewarding careers in the said disciplines. To that end, attainment of a Masters’ degree in Business Information Systems remains a yet to be fulfilled dream and sits near the top of my priority list. However, before I embark on graduate studies, I would relish a chance to work in your organization as a business analyst. I believe that my academic and professional experiences in management and information technology departments will provide exciting opportunities to propel me to the highest possible echelons of proficiency as well as sufficient challenge to stimulate the creative side of me. I also hope to grow with challenges by maintaining a solution oriented focus to sustain interest in understanding the challenges and discovering the solutions to practical problems. I believe the tasks associated with the job being advertised will propel me to the highest levels of professionalism and competence in in the world. The chance to work with cross-team members will be especially helpful to my long term career objectives. The availability of a strong research and development department will help advance my career goals as well.

     If successful, I would without hesitation, commence an inventory taking process of all property within the office compound to ensure that everything is properly used and accounted for. I look forward to more engaging deliberations on my abilities and skills.
