Outdoor Sports Jacket
The product that I wish to sell on Amazon is an outdoor sports jacket. It is a light, long sleeved jacket that is perfect for sports activities. The bright colours make the jackets reflective in nature, meaning there will be no need of using an additional reflector. However, in case the user does not need one with bright colours, the dull colors are used to enable the users to engage in their sports activities in private, and without drawing too much attention. The jackets are available in various colours including lime green, yellow, red, white and black. The material used ensures that the users will not feel any discomforts due to sweating. That is because the jackets is designed to easily absorb any sweat.
For the long sleeve sports jacket, the best price received was $27 per unit. However, there are other sellers who have priced their goods at a much higher price. The most expensive product is $37. The main difference between the products was the quality of materials used. The material used needs to be stretchy to ensure that it protects the athlete from any injuries in case of falls. It should be sturdy and almost impossible to tear. Since there are variations of the same product, three alternatives will be provided to consumers. First, customers will be expected to pick a colour that they find pleasant or comfortable. Hence, out of the five colours, consumers will settle on the option that they feel will ensure their safety. Second, the jackets vary based on whether they are long sleeved or short sleeved.

The user will be expected to choose either short or long sleeved depending on the weather. When it is cold outside, a user may opt to use the long sleeved jacket. However, during the warm seasons, the short sleeved alternatives will be the best. Lastly, another variation that exists between the products is whether the material will be automatically reflective or not. Certain materials may be bright, but will still feature poor reflective capabilities. Hence, in case the user does not want to be seen from afar, such alternatives will be best. In each unit that is being sold, there is one jacket inside. Hence, individuals who need more than one jacket may need to place an order for each jacket. The smallest packaging size, therefore, is one unit per pack.
When selling this product, it is only reasonable to package it in a box. This step will ensure that the product is not easily destroyed. A box is big enough and quite spacious, unlike having to package it in an envelope. In addition, the box will be printed to feature the variations of products that the customers may choose from. This is an important marketing strategy that will ensure that people will help to advertise the products after they receive their deliveries. The package needs to be interesting and attractive so that others may also want to place an order of the same product.
In conclusion, it is expected that the product will experience very high sales even though the target is 1000 jackets per unit. That is because the price will be set on average of what is currently being offered. In addition, other marketing strategies will be used to lure others to also place an order of the same jackets.
