Answer

Development of Gaming Language
Since its commercial conception in 1958 as a technological idiosyncrasy by William Higinbotham, gaming has developed to be the most revenues entertainment industry in the globe. Currently, there are numerous videogames in the industry with similar themes but distinguished by the programming language used to develop their features. Among the common languages used in the gaming industry include assembly, C, C++, Java, Visual Basics, Lua, Python, Pascal, Smalltalk, and Tcl. Even with a wide choice of gaming languages to use when developing a game, researchers have suggested that certain languages have significant advantages over others. In this perspective, the paper will focus on the development of gaming languages and how modern society has embraced this technology.
The first video game to be introduced by the physicist was a simple tennis game, which resembled the classing video game Pong, and was considered a big hit in an open house at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. Most of the games developed during the 1950s to 1980s used the Assembly language since it was memory efficient and required few instructions. With time the consumer wants and needs changed forcing game developers to advance the gaming languages. In 1972, Bell Labs and Dennis Ritchie introduced the C language forcing many gaming developers to assimilate it into their projects. With time, the C language became a liability since it had low-level abstraction and lacked exception handling forcing developers to go back to the drawing board.
In 1979, C++ came into the gaming market and proved to be effective since it was object-oriented, allowed users to run the program in a variety of systems, simple, and had high processing speeds. From the 1980s to early 2000 more programming languages were developed such as Python, Java, and Tcl, taking the gaming industry into advanced dimensions. Currently, these programming languages are purported to be the game changers in the gaming industry as they have enabled developers to exploit their projects effectively as well as giving consumers ultimate satisfaction.
