Identify at least one educational issue affecting schools. The issue could be
school safety, student discipline, low student achievement, over-referral of
students to special education, etc. Complete the assignment by doing the
following:
Assume that you are a school district leader who has just accepted a new
position in a school district.
Write a memo to the district superintendent explaining how you will address the
issue you selected.
Describe the issue and explain your role as an educational leader in addressing
the issue.
Determine at least one educational leadership theory that can be used to
address the issue.
Defend your choice of theory(ies).
Describe the strategies that you might apply as part of this theory.
Explain how the theory relates to the strategies you chose.
