Answer
Introduction
Elevator Speech
Coming into the industry with a breakthrough idea is not as easy as people may think. It is constant rejection, with the very low chance of receiving a yes right off bat. My team is here to fight for that yes. Creating an environment that anyone will at least stand to hear our vision, which will get us closer to the winning vision of our blueprint. It is very difficult to invest money in an idea, not knowing the solution to it. Will it be worth it? Will you get your funds plus interest back on time? Will there be a success rate to make you want to continue your partnership with this team? The answer is short and simple. Yes! So, help us help you. This way we all win!
Product/Business
The business idea which the company has settled on is cloth production. The business will advertise its products in Angel investor. Th is a forum which brings together investors who are out to link with their customers through provision of information which either a customer or another investor is looking for. In essence Angel investor is an affluent individual who provides capital for ventures which provides capital to business start-ups (Ding, Sun & Au, 2014). Angel Investor usually provide capital in exchange for convertible debt or ownership equity. These investors invest their own money into companies which are starting, with a hope of realizing high returns from the amounts which have been invested. A number of people visit the site, hence calling and strategic advertising, for one to be able to attract customers. The presentation should have the product, name of the company, its purpose, its benefits and what makes it unique from other products.
In order to ensure that one attracts the customers one should ensure that soft selling is achieved through networking with the customers. According to Ding, Sun and Au (2014), showing results is very key in Angel Investors. Instead of focusing on how to get money, one can actually get money, one should focus on getting customers first. First time investors have a better chance to be listened to, which is a good opportunity to give an in-depth explanation of the product which is being offered. Instead of begging investors to invest in your business, one should ask advice from them. This presents an opportunity to get their brains first as opposed to money. One should also consider focusing on return on investments and also have co-founders. Finally, finding an investor who is a partner, as opposed to one who is a checker would also be a prudent idea.
Financial Statements
Financial statements are written records that convey the business activities and the financial performance of a company (Murphy, 2019). Financial statements are often audited by government agencies, accountants, firms, etc. to ensure accuracy and for tax, financing, or investing purposes (Murphy, 2019). Financial statements are crucial to any business and to convey to a business investor the state of the business. These statements allow a business to understand the state of the business financially and how to direct the assets of the business. The information is important in knowing where to cut cost and where to direct funds if an area is over funded or underfunded. Financial statements reflect the success of a company. There are times where if financial statements are not created for smaller company’s investors will not invest in your business. To have a successful business financial statements are essential to having a successful business.
