The survey research results will provide crucial information concerning my target market. For instance, when the target market is young and youthful, I would tailor my product to meet their demands. Nonetheless, the survey research will help in determining where the interest of the target market lies for my product idea (Malhotra, 2015). For instance, it should back up my idea and predict if my product will meet targeted consumers' needs.
Observation is a vital market assessment tool that helps determine consumers' readiness for the product in the target market (Malhotra, 2015). Besides, it can be used to create a large distribution channel while expanding customer base at the same time. It helps to obtain market facts and insights, which are crucial in determining market facts of the product. It identifies behaviors of customers and their buying patterns. We gain market insight by analyzing consumers' behavior and using it to enhance marketing activities (Malhotra, 2015). Customer insights should be a priority to an organization since it helps to understand their decision-making processes.
The 4Ps, that is, product, price, place, and promotion, are crucial consideration in marketing a product in a target market. I will use the concept of product to evaluate whether my product addresses the needs of the consumers in the market. Besides, I will use the perceived value of the product to determine the pricing. The target market must have ease of delivery of the product. The concept of place helps in delivering the product into the market a head of the consumers (Malhotra, 2015). Nonetheless, I will use the concept of promotion to determine the best advertising strategy to popularize the product in the target market.

To what extent do American education systems and policies address the diversity of today’s students?
What is the importance of having programs and polices related to education encourage “independent learning” and “intellectual curiosity”? Do programs like this currently exist?

Exploring the American Educational System
America is one of the diverse nations across the globe. As a result, today’s classroom in America is composed of learners with diverse cultural backgrounds. Most of the educational systems available across the globe are strongly determined by their root in the national institutional arrangements and the nation-states. Factors such as the school’s structure, classroom strategies and teacher training are some of the common standards recommended by bodies such as the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) to foster inclusivity in classrooms despite the prevailing diversity among the learners (Nektaria 2). The American education policies and system address the diversity of the learners in today’s classrooms to a greater extent.
The American education system contributes towards valuing diversity by creating an environment whereby the students are required to learn about the different cultural backgrounds. The classroom learners are not only the persons who benefit from learning about the factors which make them diverse (Kellogg 10). Nevertheless, the educators also benefit by getting to know their students and the aspects which make them unique, thus making it possible to establish a unique strategy of teaching to foster equality within the classroom. Title IX of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) is one of the American legislations which encourage multiculturalism in classrooms. Notably, the focus of this section of the policy is, “to promote or encourage the study of American cultural, ethnic, or racial minority groups by children in U.S. elementary or secondary schools” (Kellogg 10). As a result, teaching a culturally different group of learners has become the responsibility of the educators to ensure that equality is observed.
Having programs and educational policies that encourage an independent form of learning as well as intellectual curiosity is important in school settings. This is founded on the fact that the programs will create an opportunity for the learners to be confident an also become highly motivated. According to Wilson and Conyers, such programs and policies can be effective in promoting a positive learning outcome since the students will indicate a positive emotional connection to their studies which drives them to master more concepts that are new. Moreover, the programs and policies, which encourage independent learning, are desirable, especially in a diverse classroom set-up since it enables the learners to understand how they can establish their plan for learning. Devising personal goals is necessary as it allows the learners to use their individual strengths in a diverse and yet challenging environment to become successful in the learning environment (Wilson and Conyers). Despite the effectiveness of such programs and policies, it is evident that the programs are currently existent within the current American Educational System as visualized under the TAG program which isolates learners based on their individualized learning initiatives (Lynch).
The current education policies and programs mainly seek to benefit the minority groups such as the learners with disabilities, those from cultural minority groups, or those with special needs. In most cases, the policies are focused on fostering equality in learning. For instance, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act are focused on discouraging discrimination based on disability, race, and sex (Kellogg 10). The laws are directed towards promoting equality when it comes to the access of education to benefit the disadvantaged learners. The policies and programs fail to benefit those from the majority groups because their interests are automatically taken care of as they rarely experience discrimination in the current educational system.
Opposers have maintained that the current system of education in America fails to foster diversity to a greater extent. Although uniformity is seen in race, gender and disability case, the system fails to promote diversity in gifted education. Lynch states, “…TAG programs separate student peers for the sake of individualized learning initiatives. Though the ideology is sound, the practice of it is often a monotone, unattractive look at contemporary American public schools” (para.6). This suggests that failure to consider diversity in some segments of the American education system still require consideration to ensure inclusivity and equality for all.
Conclusively, the American education system has fostered diversity within the learning environments to a greater extent. This is reflected by the fact that different programs and policies such as the Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act are established to foster inclusivity for all learners despite their sex, race or state of disability.
