Answer

It is apparent that the organization in the video is attempting to market its new cereal brand made from vegetables. There are different mistakes that I would avoid when marketing such a brand. For instance, the idea of using broccoli and carrot to signify the healthiness of the cereals (Valentina, 2011). I would use other characters such as heroes children see in their favourite movies or animations. By using such characters, it will be easy to convince the children since they will all want to have the product for them to become like the heroes (Radesky et al., 2020). Moreover, using superheroes or animations will make it easy for the children to remember the product.

Children often need to be entertained in any circumstance. The characters in the videos fail to entertain the children by using convincing words that fit their age. This becomes difficult for the children to understand and keep up with the characters advertising the cereals (Valentina, 2011). In such instances, I would consider rewriting the words that the characters will use while communicating with the children and ensure that I use those that align with their taste and desire (Radesky et al., 2020). For an organization to market its food products to children, the company is obliged to think like the child but act as a business organization.

The last thing I would do differently is inviting a younger person to elaborate more about the product. Researches indicate that children often trust each other (Radesky et al., 2020). It is easy for a child to remember and trust what he/she was told by another child. Using another child to market the product will be essential since they will easily relate to other kids. Lastly, I would only mention to the parents that the cereals are made from vegetables. Most children do not like vegetables, and knowing the cereals are made from greens will turn them away.
