When working on the technical questions, do wear your technology analyst and network engineer heads – not business leader heads. What this means is that we require deep technical analysis in your papers, as part of this technical course. In fact, many business level executives in technology companies have strong technical backgrounds, and rose through the ranks via engineering, software development, and other technical channels. So, they possess comprehensive understanding of technical matters in their decision-making processes.

Answer
Introduction
Telemedicine is a technology that a number health institutions used in order to reach patients in remote areas. With the increase and improvement in technology through a number of decades, it has transformed from a simple concept into a complex service integrated and used in a number of places and situations such as homes, hospitals, private doctor's offices and other health care institutions (Ekeland, Bowes & Flottorp, 2010). This paper will explain how the use of mobile application and technologies can help to expand the number of patients reached by BcwYF and further increase the geographical reach to ensure that telemedicine is provided to as much people as possible
Critical elements and technologies necessary BCwYF to expand
In order for BCwYF to expand and increase the number of patients they reach, they should first consider,
- Using ads and marketing through a number of campaigns digitally through the use of social media platforms such as Facebook, instagrams since the number of users of such platforms span to the rural areas (Chaffey & Ellis-Chadwick, 2019).
- Using their own current patients to refer the idea of telemedicine to friends and family. Having 500 patients will ensure the reach of 1000 more patients is possible which will ensure another 2000 more patients and another 4000, if only one patient can refer 2 people and each of the two people can later refer 2 more people each. Referrals ensures that some trust has already been reached between the product company and their customers.
- Using videos and live chats for the support since a number of people are comfortable when they can have a one on one communication
- Increasing their availability by providing 24/7 service
- Use of mobile applications to all these solutions are realized through a single platform
The resources required to increase the number of patients reached by BCwYF
- Incentives in terms of deals, monetary value and insurance coverage. Having incentives set aside to be used when trying to incite patients to refer more and more patients.
- Developers to come up with mobile applications that is user friendly and provides all the necessary functionalities.
- Server space for the mobile application
- Live chat technology that is in existence
Architect for the solution of reaching more patients and increasing the geographical coverage
The architect for the expansion will evolve around the use of mobile technologies and the assumption that quite a number of patients possess either a smartphone or a device close to that. Using the mobile application services can be accessed through the use of the internet through the use of a mobile application. The mobile application will allow users to create their own medical profiles containing all their basic medical records. This medical records will be updated through their frequent interaction with a doctor. During any consultations with a doctor, any diagnosis or prescription are properly stored. This information can be shared and used during later consultations to improve the accuracy of services provided to the user. The mobile application will allow direct consultation between a doctor and their patients through the use of live video chats or use of still prerecorded images. The architecture also ensures the expansion of the patient base and geographical outreach through the use of digital advertising that will be aimed at increasing both the number of patients and also the number of medical institutes that will be contacted in case of a medical
Clinical applications that will run on the proposed infrastructure.
There are a number of clinical applications that will be supported through the use of a mobile application to spread the medical care reach.
- Live chat will ensure that doctor can be able to have a consultation with a patient and provide diagnosis.
- Diagnosis can be provided to a patient through the application either through direct consultation from a doctor or through the system machine based learning artificial intelligence which is guided by responses from the patient
- Support care can be done through the assistance of multiple
- Patients can easily make payment of a given appointment, diagnosis.
- Storing of the patient health records can be done through the application for future reference
Benefits and risks associated with proposed solution
Some of the benefits includes
- Faster diagnosis and prescription is given thus ensuring that patients do not come into harm due to late prescriptions or diagnosis
- First aid can be issued without having any professional knowledge as the application will offer the guidelines
- 24/7 service health care without any expenses, patients are able to get medical assistance through out as medical emergencies can occur at any moment.
- Health institutions can deal with emergency disease outbreaks as notifications can be sent immediately to users of the app who would be able to spread it further to their friends and families thus ensuring any disasters associated with outbreaks is kept to a minimum.
- Request emergency medical response by calling the nearest ambulance services from any close medical institute.
Some of the risks of the proposed solution includes
- User must have internet access in order to access the services in BcwYF mobile application.
- User must be in possession of a smartphone that can run the application
- Assumptions that users will be able to see the campaigns in the social media platforms
- Assumptions that a number of health institutions will be able to join BCwYF.
Reasons to use the proposed
The number of people in possession of mobile phones of all kinds is huge and reaching these people through it is even easier. A number mobile phone possessors can also use applications without any guidance as long as the application is easy to operate and use. The risks associated with the use of mobile applications is something that can be avoided through the use of outreach campaigns. Patients can be advised on the importance of having telemedicine application to help guide their health life and support during their own medical emergencies or a close friend medical emergency. Through various campaigns through a number of social media platforms, medical institutions such as hospitals, laboratories, and forums the number of patients reached can improve and convincing the patients to start owning a phone and using the BcwYF mobile application will be possible.
