  1. Describe the healthcare program or policy outcomes.

There was a positive outcome as 80 percent of the individuals who took part in the program for rehabilitation developed a healthy lifestyle and their lives improved. Nearly all of them have enough information about drugs, their effects, and how to avoid addiction. 

  1. How was the success of the program or policy measured?

The success was measured by the number of individuals whose health status improved after being put under the program. Basically, 80 percent of individuals in the program had positive health outcome.

  1. How many people were reached by the program or policy selected?

One hundred individuals were reached.

  1. How much of an impact was realized with the program or policy selected?

It was realized that the program had an important impact not only to the individuals but also to the community as individuals that showed positive outcome were able to educate others. As such, there are other people who were assisted without attending the program.

  1. At what point in program implementation was the program or policy evaluation conducted?

This was done at nearly the end of the program.

  1. What data was used to conduct the program or policy evaluation?

Several types of data were used to conduct the program evaluation. They included observations data, interview data on wellness, and doctors/health professional data based on the health situations of the residents.

  1. What specific information on unintended consequences was identified?

Lack of knowledge that mental issues that are caused by addiction of drugs can be treated through cognitive behavioral therapies. Most of the addicted individuals as well as members of the community believed that such conditions cannot be treated hence they resort to certain such as herbs.

  1. What stakeholders were identified in the evaluation of the program or policy? Who would benefit most from the results and reporting of the program or policy evaluation? Be specific and provide examples.

The key stakeholders in the evaluation program were categorized into three. The first one was a group who were involved in the program evaluations. They included management, program staffs, and funding agencies. The second group is individuals who were served or affected with the program. These included patients, advocacy groups and selected community members. The last groups were intended users of the evaluation findings. These included funding agencies, the management, and the community who are the tax payers.

  1. Did the program or policy meet the original intent and objectives? Why or why not?

Based on the outcome, the program met the original intended objectives. One of the objectives was to restore the health of individuals who were fighting alcohol and drug addiction. This aim was achieved as more than 80% of the residents’ lives were restored. Additionally, it was to create awareness about drug addict, use of drugs, and healthy living. Based on the evolution that was conducted through interviews, a majority were well conversant about healthy living and drug use.

  1. Would you recommend implementing this program or policy in your place of work? Why or why not?

Yes, I would recommend this policy. This is because it has been tasted and its results have been positive. Besides, it is an educational program about healthy living that individuals at my work place really need.
