The reaction paper assignment is a written project. The project is a critical thinking project. The purpose is for you to read one of the listed essays or one of the listed Podcasts and describe in detail (explicate) the authors’ theory and position stated on the topic and whether the support provided is sufficient. You then must explain and support why you believe that theory is relevant to today’s politics in America. Your positions must be supported with relevant and current facts, expert opinions, or events from your research. Facts such as events can be sourced from popular publications (newspapers, magazines, popular journals, etc.); expert opinions, interpretations or analyses must be sourced from scholarly peer-reviewed or primary sources.
