Answer

Liberal and Conservative Theories Approach to United States Budget

Government budgeting is done annually, and usually dependent on the state policies for budget formulation. Different individuals would approach budgeting for the United States differently (Ferriere & Navarro, 2018).  A liberal would have an idea of ensuring high rate of money circulation, as a means of fostering more economic growth, while a conservative would view it differently.  The following are some of the specific approaches that these two individuals would view budgeting for United States.

Conservative’s Approach

This kind of individual would be concerned more about the welfare of the United States.  Besides, the individual would perceive that the traditional, sectors are so critical, even if their contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is negligible. Contribution of the agricultural sector to the United States’ GDP for instance is only 1% (Lauth, 2016).To an individual, this sector would have its funding rate retained, even if its contribution is negligible. The military sector, contributes a lot to economic stability of peace in the United States. The conservative would therefore invest more on protecting the borders of the United States, as opposed to aiding the peace and tranquility in other nations. He would reduce Aids, and concentrate more in United States’ economic development.

Liberal Approach

A liberal on the other hand, would be interested in the life of Americans, and the world at large (Magstadt, 2017).  Such an individual would increase funding on keeping peace of other nations, poverty eradication in other nations, environmental conservation both in the United States and other nations, among other. In essence, a liberal would be guided by a notion that the stability of America, is dependent on the stability of other nations. Though this would increase the government annual budget, but it would satisfy the individual.
