Management Team Overview
Diva in Defense’s management team comprises of an office manager and a board of directors of four managers: the CEO, the chief financial officer (CFO), the director of marketing, and the director of human resources. Bianca Sosa is Diva in Defense’s founder and CEO. Her responsibilities are to uphold Diva in Defense’s business functions and supervise the company’s operations. She has a Masters Degree in Management along with more than 15 years of experience as fortune 500 companies’ executive consultant on the West Coast.
Kevin Plaweki joined Diva in Defense with more than 25 years of experience in leadership and finance. He has worked as a CFO for 10 years in a large organization. As the CFO, Kevin will be overseeing the firm’s finances.
Dominic Smith joined Diva in Defense having served as United Way’s human resource manager. Smith has worked as a financial advisor. Smith (the director of human recourses) brings priceless securities and exchange commission experience and knowledge which he will employ in ensuring that Diva in Defense is Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliant and other federal regulations. Smith also has vast knowledge in federal and state laws and business regulations, which is precious to Diva in Defense’s determinations in capital compliance. By recruiting a capital compliance agency to help in the management of its financial transactions and make sure that all Bank Secrecy Act as well as USA Patriot Act are adhered to, Diva in Defense will ensure that its customers’ privacy is safeguarded (Huang & Sarigollu, 2012).
Robert Gsellman, the director of marketing, is a retired employee from Omnicom Group, one of New York City’s largest marketing companies. He has more than 45 years of corporate marketing experience. He will be handling the company’s marketing strategies.
Lastly is Jay Bruce, an office manager, who supervises six employees responsible for the management of the company’s website, preparation of invoices and shipping as well as inventory control. Jay is also responsible for supply orders, payroll, and inventory control for the Diva Defense office.
Management Plan
Through collaboration, the directors will make sure that Diva in Defense functions towards realizing its mission of safeguarding women globally while following federal and state regulations and will reach women across the globe via elaborate marketing approaches.
