The close competitors include KFC, Burger Kings, and even Taco Bells. Hence, to constantly gain a competitive edge, McDonalds has to focus on the provision of high quality foodstuff to the target market, which will satisfy their needs and desires and still be quite affordable to them.

            Many companies have embraced the need of proper market to help boost traffic and loyalty that will eventually lead to outstanding revenues. McDonalds has embraced the same strategy since it understands the need of maintaining its presence in the public eye (Ceil, 2017).
