Answer

Organization Analysis: The Leadership Institute

The Leadership Institute (LI) stands out from numerous liberal organizations in its vision to teach conservatism to its members. As a political belief, conservatism focuses on the importance of long-established customary institutions and practices.  LI’s mission is to expand its efficacy while increasing the conservative leaders’ and activists’ population in the process involving public policy. In this mission statement, LI supports conservatism in its policies, educative programs, and influence.

The LI is intent on ensuring that conservatism activists participate in the process of implementing legislation. The institute achieves this by teaching Americans affiliated with conservatism ways to guide and influence legislation (The Leadership Institute, 2020). This is done through LI institutes across the US where conservatism activists can participate directly, become activists, or join ranks in conservatism leaders to effect change by influencing public policy. Conservatism is a doctrine that is aristocratic and produces inequality and discrimination that affects social change.

Conservatism should be scrapped off because it limits and inhibits freedoms rendered to individuals under the American democratic constitution. Where conservatism prevails, democracy is destroyed (Crouch, 2016). A government where conservatism rules is likely to be authoritarian and freedoms limited. Individuals will not freely associate with their sexual orientations or beliefs if they go against the government's policies. Societies that accept conservatism risk discrimination and dictatorship against some citizens in the country. Therefore, conservatism activists should adopt liberalism to accept individuals in society as equals instead of thinking that they are better than liberalists.

In conclusion, the Leadership Institute should teach its members ways to accept people and the societal changes that come with individuals from different cultures living together. The migration of people into different states comes with their values, and each person in society must be treated as an equal despite their socio-economic demographical background.
