QUESTION
Week 6 English Assignment
For this assignment, your task is to submit informal reading notes that highlight elements of the text that were compelling, confusing, thought provoking, etc. The notes are not synopses or plot summaries. The format and length are entirely up to you; and by extension, what you focus on is also entirely up to you. At minimum, each week’s notes must include two questions related to the text that emerged for you during your reading experience. The main point of this assignment is two-fold: to demonstrate that you are completing the reading assignment and that you are engaging with the course materials in ways that extend beyond merely completing an assignment.

Answer
Response Writing
It is critical to point out that the author has used figurative language as one of the elements and a unique mode of communicating the intended message. The small place, Antigua, is located along the beach. It is an attractive place and among the best place to spend one’s holiday. The author describes the place as relatively small but has more unique and beautiful features. The author states that any visitor who visits Antigua beach has a greater yearning of getting into their various guest rooms overlooking the water body. Inasmuch as the author heaps lots of praises to Antigua, the author also poses challenges to the reader about Antigua’s small place.
The author points out that as the reader looks out through their window, they are met with the attractive site on the beach, which forces them to create numerous series of imaginations that range from one’s perception of how staying at the beach is awesome and relaxing as it involves experiencing new encounters that are inclusive of meeting new people. Besides, to give such vivid and attractive descriptions, the author notes a critical thinking point that, as one enjoys the beauty of nature and the Antiguans’ attractive culture, one should have a back-of-the-head reflection that encompasses wondering where their wastes are channelled to.
The author triggers consequent and complicated questions that try to find out first where the Antiguan government’s weak points are to maintain their small place attractive for longer without complicating the environment. Another question formulated is how to ensure the initiated program’s maintenance, whether it has donors or long-term sponsors. The unfortunate situation of having an improper sewage disposal system for Antiguans poses a significant risk of having a zero turnout or visits to the most beautiful but small place described by the author.
