  1. QUESTION

     Senior Capstone Project

    Senior Capstone Project:
During SPHE490 you will be working on your Senior Capstone Project. The
senior project is designed to place Sports and Health Sciences degree students in the role
of the decision maker. Each individual project is based on realistic scenarios and
situations in multiple aspects of sports and health science businesses that involve a
particular company, event, or cause. The objective of each Capstone Project is to require
students to research information relevant and current in today’s sports and health science
industry, make decisions that impact sport organizations, and apply theory to practice.
Capstone Projects will be provided within the specific concentration areas of
Coaching Studies, Exercise Science, and Fitness and Wellness Professional Studies. Each
student will select a project related to their concentration within the Sports and Health
Sciences degree program. If your concentration is “General”, then you are allowed to
select the Capstone Project that applies best to your career focus. The Capstone Project
will focus on an individual situation that allows students to research and analyze
information to provide a comprehensive presentation containing creative solutions. The
presentation should demonstrate an inclusive understanding of program level objectives,
key coaching, exercise science, fitness and wellness, and sports and health science
concepts, critical thinking, constructive analysis, ability to make executive level decisions,
and overall ability to write efficiently.
Your Senior Capstone Project Reference Page and in text citations MUST be
written in APA style. Please refer to the 7th Edition of the Publication Manual of the
American Psychological Association (APA), the Center for Teaching and Learning
Student Resources area, and/or http://www.apastyle.org/ for assistance. There are also
various documents and tools in the online classroom related to APA to help you along the
way. Your Capstone Project format can be chosen based on the best way to showcase
and display your work. For example, an employee manual in Microsoft Word, an
employee schedule in Excel, a YouTube video to provide a training procedure, and a
Power Point presentation for a facility plan. You have a great deal of latitude with how
your Capstone Project is presented and what appears inside. Ensure it is professional, yet
maintain the creative aspects necessary to advance your presentation.

You have been hired by a local sports club to design, with the intent of
implementation, a youth sports camp. You may choose any single sport. Or you may
choose multiple sports for the camp. This can be an independent camp or a camp
belonging to a college or pro team run by coaches and players. You may choose your
location. Two hundred (200) campers, ages 8 – 16, will be in attendance. Campers ages
8 – 11 will be day campers. Campers ages 12-16 will be overnight campers. Develop all
the elements necessary to produce this youth sports camp. For example you will need to
develop a camp mission statement, a daily schedule – remember over night campers
require a 24-hour schedule, budget, cost, necessary staff, staff hiring process, equipment
necessary, facilities, insurance, payroll, drills and specific method of instruction – lesson
plans, etc. Your presentation must be available for submission to the host facility,
available for staff to review, and web site publication.

    Requirements For Capstone Project Submission
    Capstone Project: Preliminary Outline
For your first Capstone Project assignment you are to review the appropriate
scenario for your concentration and begin collecting data on a specific topic for the
project. A preliminary outline of your Capstone Project topic is due by the end of week 2.
For the week 2 assignment, it is absolutely essential that you read, study, and
become familiar with the process and requirements of the Capstone Project BEFORE
you begin your outline. Give yourself enough time to write the path and establish initial
resources for your scenario. It is important that you read and reflect on the content and do
    not rush through it.
Additional hints for successful organization of your Capstone Project…
    • Identify the scenario (capstone scenario) – this is pretend. You are pretending you
have this job and need to explain your project to your boss. You and your boss
will present this project once you complete it. (we are pretending, use your
    imagination).
    • Review and prioritize the information
    • Select specific information from the scenario and categorize it according to
people, place, program, order of events, etc.
    • Proofread your work
For week 2’s assignment submit your formal Capstone Project Topic along with a
    preliminary outline of your presentation.
    This should include:
    I. Title Page
II. Table of Contents (place holder at this time)
    III. Basic structure content outline
    IV. Reference Page:
*Sources must be submitted in proper APA formatted style. (A variety of
sources are required and 5-10 sources max at this time)

and why it is necessary to your case study.
    Save your Document as YOURNAME_SPHE490_CP_Topic_Outline.doc
    7
NOTE: Your Capstone Project is a work in progress. Your sources will change and
evolve throughout the process of completion. This is not a “set in stone” outline. It can
change. Instructor feed back will focus on the necessity of your outline topics, quality of
topic, as well as the sources you have chosen.
Your completed Capstone Project will be approximately 20 – 40 pages long with a total
of 15 -25 references. Don’t panic, this includes photos, charts, bullet points, descriptive
    text, etc.
    Capstone Project Q&A and Help & Resources Form Weeks 5 & 7
In the forums section of the classroom a forum discussion board titled “Capstone
Project Q&A and Help & Resources” is open. This forum board will count toward your
final grade. Each week you will have the opportunity to discuss your progress with your
classmates. In weeks 5 & 7 you are required to post a minimum of two posts each week,
two questions and two responses minimum. I will not require a word count. However,
quality of comments will be assessed. Use this space to discuss your chosen scenarios for
your capstone project, web sites and resources that offer great tools for developing
material and gathering information. General comments and assistance from your
professor are located in this forum. Be sure to read it frequently.
Continue to research and compile your sources and develop your outline for your
capstone project. Message me with questions or concerns and use the Capstone Project
Week 5 & 7 forum board for assistance.

for ease of layout. Documents must be labeled with your name and the appropriate title.
The initial submission is for Boss (instructor) review and feedback and allows you the
time to make assigned adjustments to your project before Final Capstone Project
Submission (Week 8). Initial Capstone Project Submission is due, for grading, by Day 5
(Friday) of week 7. This early submission is vital for instructor feedback and your time
    8
to make assigned adjustments to your project. If you cannot meet this deadline, contact
your Boss (instructor) for an extension.
Again, Friday submission provides your instructor with the opportunity to offer
initial feedback on your Capstone Project. Instructor feedback will allow you to make
assigned final adjustments on your project in order to develop a solid Final Capstone
Project Submission, reflective of your learning at AMU/APUS.

Camp Objectives

The main mission for the Next Level Basketball Club is to groom the next generation of disciplined and proficient basketball players. By offering high-quality training skills, the camp has been able to produce good sportsmen/women who have made a good impact on both society and their families. The second objective is to promote the general well-being of campers through quality food and consistent exercises for the body. The third objective is to promote socialization among children from different cultural, racial, and economical backgrounds.

Campaign Objectives

In line with Next Level Basketball Club operational techniques, effective leadership is the basic skill that an individual has to portray in leading a certain group of people through inspiring their subjects to follow a certain direction. In other words, leadership represents an interpersonal progression that becomes an influential factor to a group of individuals with the aim of achieving an aspired objective (Gerrish, 2016). Some of the objectives set by the management of the firm confirmed that the effective practices of converting labor and materials into consumable goods and services were the initial steps of realizing the goals set by the organizations.

Measuring performance in organizations

Measuring performance is the approach through which camp uses in monitoring its processes through measuring the actual results of its operation to the initially implemented target. As the manager of the Next Level Basketball Club, one has to ensure that he or she is part of the strategic planners of the business operations so that measuring the camp’s achievement could be rather effective (Gerrish, 2016). In line with this, they will also have to provide necessary advice to the organization’s workforce for the firm to realize its objectified goal.

The measuring of brand awareness will happen through the proper analysis of the camp’s website. The reason behind this venture is that it will enable the camp to monitor, closely, consumer involvement. Also, the process will ensure that the camp’s motive of keeping a good and updated record of consumer insight is always in check. With this, the management will have tangible information concerning their targeted audience hence resort to enhancing an effective communication system between potential clients and the management (Gerrish, 2016). The presence of print promotion will enable the company to communicate its principal value to the targeted market. The use of social media will also come in handy since it will establish an online community where the slogan will provide an effective platform through the socializing with the consumers hence creating a positive brand attitude.

All marketing efforts will capture the same principle idea, yet each precisely designed campaign will stir up the primary secondary and tertiary target markets (Szmigin & Piacentini, 2018). The consistency of the club’s promotion efforts is designed to create an assimilating concept across all advertising tools the agency will employ.

 Consumer Insights

Despite coming up with consumable products and services, the management at Next Level Basketball Club has ensured that their products reach out to their potential clients. However, the competition exhibited in the market will require the firm to adapt to better marketing strategies so that their product could stand out hence increase their income (Szmigin & Piacentini, 2018). Marketing is the process through which a business enterprise takes the initiative of selling out its merchandise as well as the services they offer. With this, the business will venture to advertise its products and services to its customers.

As a business-oriented organization, the management of the Next Level Basketball Club has scoop-out the market before embarking on the initialization of the business to cut down their expenses (De Mooij, 2019). The reason behind this process is to ensure that the management familiarizes with the environment. Hence, they would be able to solve any issue that may arise, cost-effectively. Seemingly, the surveying the market is influential in the sense that market determines the business trend in the buying and selling of goods and services.

Since Next Level Basketball Club is always targeting new business opportunities, an effective marketing strategy would be appropriate in ensuring that the camp gains clients in a universal scale. Opening up a training camp is a good idea since the business is quite lucrative in the local and international market (Szmigin & Piacentini, 2018). By virtue that the camp anticipates in attracting more clients from different social backgrounds, it has employed online services which the contemporary society is well conversant with. Apparently, after corporate switched to this method, it was apparent that the method has been relatively advantageous since it saves time and it can reach to a diversified populace.

Besides meeting the geographic, psychographic and behavioral marketing segmentation, demographic factors also make a significant effect that many companies consider while marketing their products to a targeted group (De Mooij, 2019). Any business has to identify its marketing strategies given their customer satisfaction. Since Next Level Basketball Club is a training camp, some of the consumer insights that it has to get familiar with include gender, age, and social-economic status of its customers so that it can evaluate on how it will market its products to the targeted group.

Gender

While the targeted market for a given item can incorporate both males and females, focusing one type of gender may reflect a defined picture of an organization's target market (Szmigin & Piacentini, 2018). Organizations can portion their business sectors by gender, and then come up with a variety of their products in accordance to a particular gender or change their marketing effort to allure the male or female counterpart. Being a sports camp, Next Level Basketball Club targets both genders by virtue that their clients can be either male or female. All in all, it is essential to associate one’s products with relation to the gender of the respective clients since the company will focus on which group of individuals it should exploit to attain maximum profits.

Social-Economic status

Income is the most important as well frequently utilized base for dividing a consumer market. The purchasing power of any client bases its proximity given the level of salary earned. In light of this demographic variable, customers are grouped into three classifications, which are high income, middle and low-income, with the market additionally classified on a similar foundation. The reason for this form of categorization is that a client from a rich background tends to go for pre-luxurious merchandise. In a like manner, customers with middle-level income will choose medium-valued and sturdy merchandise, whereas buyers with low-wage will often buy low-priced items to satisfy their physical desires. Low-income earning customers go for low priced products since they have less cash, and thus they become sensitive to higher priced products.

Age

Age is one of the integral parts that every company as has to consider when promoting its products to their customers either online or offline. If the company produces products that vary with consumer age, then it stands a high chance of increasing its profits. Next Level Basketball Club targets clients within the range of 8 to 16years. The reason behind this is that such individuals fit in the consumer insights listed. Individuals in this age are very active and are ready to enhance their skill.

Compliments to the customers

In line with the sales process, the sports club will adopt a six-step strategy to ensure that it not only maintains its initial customers but also attracts more customers. To begin with, business will provide travel information to its customers via their online platform so that every customer would be well acquainted with the firm’s location. Secondly, the business will ensure that it links up with the services provided to the potential customers then, prepare travel plan that will feature the schedule of its operations. The other step would be incorporating the prices anticipated for so that the day-to-day planning would be effective. Additionally, the camp will resort to using tickets which will aid in the recordkeeping hence the managers would trace on the direction that the company is taking with regards to profits made or losses incurred.

The Economics of the Business

To begin with, the managers of the sports club will ensure that they track its revenue through its mode of operations to determine the profits after paying off their employees.  Seemingly, the primary role of for the training camp is to ensure that it caters for its workforce (Brickley Smith & Zimmerman, 2015). The reason behind this is that the workforce will exhibit an equivalent effort in selling the good or rather services that Next Level Basketball Club offers. The basis of paying the company employees is to ensure that that the workforce is well motivated to optimize their expected work output.

In connection to this, the management of the Next Level Basketball Club budget will ensure that there it has a budget that will aid the camp to limit its expenditure by monitoring how the business spends its money on certain operations (Brickley Smith & Zimmerman, 2015). With this, the management of training camp will be able to plan for future growth by estimating the value of all the costs. In other words, keeping track of costs related to the running of the various business operations is essential since the management of the sports club will be able to save sufficient capital that it will use to enhance its infrastructure to manage the campers.

Creative Idea

The creative ideology includes the utilization of relevant media drives, applicable execution methodologies as well as imperative execution periods. The camp intends to target the young and talented basketball players. The media platforms that will be used are in three distinctive parts print advertisements, a social media PR advertising campaign as well as website and a TV advertisement (Mothersbaugh, Hawkin & Kleiser, 2019). The print advertisements will attempt to clutch the attention of young individuals who are anticipating to advance their skills in basketball. According to the management of the camp, the TV advertisement will be aired during the day, especially in between shows like the morning show, Today extra and News Breakfast whereby the targeted audience will certainly get exposed to its products and services. This will take place between 8 am to 2 pm. With such shows, the influence to the targeted audience is that they will get familiar with Next Level Basketball Club’s products and services.

The core feature that will differentiate Next Level Basketball Club from its many competitors is authenticity, originality as well as the premium constituents used in the organization’s production process. The insufficiency of such products has been identified in the market and therefore provides an opportunity for Next Level Basketball Club to meet its consumer needs. Promotions such as free training services will be used during the campaign of the camp’s products to ensure that clients get familiar with any new merchandise in the market and at the same time have an opportunity to explore the products before purchasing (AlAwadhi & Al-Daihani, 2019). As for the public relations campaign, the benefits that come along it include building brand awareness for Next Level Basketball Club and a decent brand image where clients will have the chance to identify any distinct difference in the quality of the product which they will later share their experiences via social media platforms.

In line with social media promotions, Next Level Basketball Club will be able to use of such a vehicle and reach many different individuals through online sharing as well as word of mouth. Also complementing any social media campaign with the hashtag trend will be appropriate since this execution method creates a sense of belonging to a certain community which later unites Next Level Basketball Club’s loyal customers (Shen, Luong, Ho, & Djailani, 2020). Also, photos posted by club’s consumers will be shared on the firm’s website where every photo will be stored. Later, a review of the photos will follow suit as they will be featured in the firm’s final print advertisement.  Apparently, this print promotion will contain photos of clients using the club’ products and will be displayed to the social media community. Seemingly, it will enable clients to feel integrated with the firm and generate a loyal consumer space.

Media Strategy

From movement with automobiles to effective communication with the introduction of social media platforms, it is evident that technology has served the human co-existence with a variety of beneficiaries. Most investors look into expanding their businesses in states which have hospitable public relations (Shen, Luong, Ho, & Djailani, 2020). Apparently, most developing markets have adapted to effective public-private corporations on digital and technological innovations which give room for a better amalgamation of data automation as well as new technologies. This is why Next Level Basketball Club has ventured into incorporating digital media in marketing their brand.

Social Media

The digital era has seen a phenomenal evolution since its initialization, in the sense that the society where this market is vested in, embraces the value of technology.  Just as the forefathers of modernization anticipated the direction through which the contemporary society would take, the introduction of the internet to the public domain has so far been a useful tool since it's applied technological procedures seem to ease various human activities like communication as well as managing other businesses (AlAwadhi & Al-Daihani, 2019). With the day to day advancements in digital telecommunication devices, social media firms have thrived since the platform supports and run such technologies. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, among others give business firms an opportunity to market themselves by forming group pages.

Since the contemporary society embraces this digital revolution, Next Level Basketball Club can market its brand name and make it conversant in a wider scale. For instance, Next Level Basketball Club can open a page in as many as possible social media sites to inform the public of its existence (Shen, Luong, Ho, & Djailani, 2020).  In their pages, the club will ensure that it features all the factors that make it an outstanding sports camp that many people relate to and prefer over the many in the market. On the same note, the consumers will later promote the brand name of the company through recommendations. After increasing public relations, Next Level Basketball Club through their social media pages can inform its clients of upcoming events. Such an initiative is quite effective since the club will build a reliable customer base hence building the brand image of the company.

Magazines

One of the oldest as well as the most effective ways of advertising is using magazines. This kind of printing promotion is quite cheap and also effective. The utilization for print publicizing gives room for the inclusion of additional information which is quite different from other forms of moving media like television (Taoketao, Feng Song & Nie, 2018). By virtue that prints promotions are less engaging, and has minimal movements as compared to those used in television and radios, it necessitates the marketer to be witty concerning the methods that will enhance the placing their product so that the targeted  clients may see the product with ease. Due to its properties, the marketers using this procedure can ensure that the magazine advertisement concerning the same promotion is spread on as many pages as possible so that the consumer can be exposed and hence be lured into buying the product (Kingsnorth, 2019). Another facet that makes this printing promotion effective for the camp is that any individual can read the contents of a magazine, with respective restrictions, as it is passed from one person to another. An effective and efficient hiring process is an organized procedure that an organization follows when it aspires to hire a new employee. Before hiring, many organizations consider the available talents and gaps that require proficient personnel. Different companies have different hiring processes but all depend on the size of the company (Ellis, Skidmore & Combs, 2017). The management at Next Level Basketball Club considers a 15 step-by-step hiring process for all its employees. These procedure includes identifying the hiring need, devising a recruitment plan, writing a job description, advertising the position, recruiting the position, reviewing the application, phone interview and initial screening of applicants, interviews, assessing the applicant background checks, decision, reference check, job offer, hiring, on-boarding.

Identifying Hiring Need

The hiring process usually starts by identifying the organization’s needs. These needs could vary from expanding the organizational task, creating a better management team, and filling a vacated position. At Next Level Basketball Club, the management considers six vital steps in identifying the hiring need. The first step is coming up with precise requirements is analyzing the firm’s expectations, needs as well as demands that are essential for its operations. The second step is writing a job description so that potential candidates could familiarize themselves with the company's expectations (Ellis, Skidmore & Combs, 2017). The third step concerns finances. It is paramount for an organization to fully and transparently reflect the salary ranges for different posts as it helps in describing the importance of a defined position to the firm. The fourth process concerns the estimation of the current state of affairs. This process helps in evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the staff.

The fifth step regards setting both short-term and long-term goals. The two recruitment strategies help companies to determine the type of cooperation it will have with their employers in the future. The sixth step considers the training that the management will disseminate to their recruits (Fisher, Vance & Olsen, 2020). In case a company hires semi-skilled laborers, it will be required to invest a lot of money in training them to effective and efficient as compared when employing skilled workers.

Devising a Recruitment Plan

Once the management at Next Level Basketball Club identifies the hiring need, it begins recruiting potential clients. In the case of newly formed posts, Next Level Basketball Club identifies how the new position aligns with its goals as well as the business plan. The management of the company keeps relevant internal teams together with employees apprised of the new posts at each hiring process stage (Weinstock, 2015). All those individuals involved in the hiring process must agree unanimously on the hiring steps, process, and appropriate communication channels. Ostensibly, the recruitment process involves strategizing how the camp will publicize the new posts both internally as well as externally, choosing the criteria for applicant screening, proposing the outlook of the interview process, selecting the individuals who will conduct the interview.

Write a Job Description

The management of the Next Level Basketball Club starts by generating a job description that contains a prioritized list of requisite experience, desired characteristics, special qualifications, and job recruitments (Weinstock, 2015). In connection to this, the job description should as well include information concerning salary and benefits.

Advertising the Position

The process of identifying high-qualifies potential recruits begins internally. The management at Next Level Basketball Club stars by notifying its current employees of the available position. This form of notification process occurs through a meeting or written memos. In some cases, the advertisement of the defined position ends there if the organization is determined to fill the position with its current employees (Fisher, Vance & Olsen, 2020). However, if the company is interested in external recruits it ensures that all the employees are aware of the management’s intentions. External advertisement by Next Level Basketball Club utilizes social media platforms, local newspaper advertisements, job fairs, the company’s website, word of mouth recruitment, and industry publications as well as events.

Recruiting the Position

After conducting the advertisement, the management of the company moves to recruit potential candidates to fill the described position. The candidates are usually reached through social media platforms, job fairs, emails, or direct calls (Weinstock, 2015). Active recruitment helps to generate applications from potential recruits who are not currently searching for a new job but will be perfect for the advertised position.

Reviewing Applications

Next Level Basketball Club has ready mechanisms in place for applications from recruits which mostly is facilitated with an applicant tracking system (ATS), emails, among others. In most cases, the reviewing process is conducted by the human resource management of the sports camp. Their main objective is reviewing the applications and eliminating the candidates who do not attain the minimum requirements of the identified position. In other cases, the hiring manager or the hiring team may prefer to evaluate each application. After selecting a batch of qualified applications, the hiring team assembles them in order from those which they highly recommend to those who have some flaws.

Phone interviewing/Initial Screening

Initial interviews at Next Level Basketball Club usually begin with receiving phone calls from the HR departments. The phone interviews determine if candidates have attained the set qualifications to fill the post and align with the firm’s culture as well as values (Ellis, Skidmore & Combs, 2017). In line with this, phone interviews enable the management to narrow down the list of applicants while expanding the organization’s resources efficiently.

Interviews

After evaluating the size of the company and the hiring committee, the management of Next Level Basketball Club conducts one or several interviews (Fisher, Vance & Olsen, 2020). The interview process encompasses the following:

  • The first interviews are usually one-on-one between the hiring team and the candidate. The conversations during these interviews are aimed at familiarizing with the candidate’s availability, experience, skills as well as work history.
  • Additional interviews with executives, management, staff, and other shareholders of the company through either in-person or group interviews with the hiring team. These meetings could either be formal or casual through online sites such as Google Hangouts, Skype, etc. In most cases, the additional interviews are more in-depth as compared to the first interviews. For instance, in the interviews between an applicant and multiple members from the hiring team, each member of the panel tends to focus on a particular topic or aspect of the position to avoid redundancy as well as ensure an in-depth discussion regarding the role and the applicants’ experiences and qualifications. At this point, the HR department formulates a list of those shortlisted so that those who were not selected could know that the search for the preferred candidates has moved to another step.
  • The final interviews usually include a discussion with the organization’s senior management or more in-depth conversations with the hiring term from the first stage of the hiring process. Final interviews come into play when the management wants to know the abilities of the top selected candidates.

Assessing the Applicant

As soon as interviews are completed or when they are approaching the final stage, the management at Next Level Basketball Club usually assigns candidates one or more standardized exams (Weinstock, 2015). These tests assess a wide range of candidate variables such as emotional intelligence, reasoning, reading comprehension, problem-solving ability, personality traits, and more.

Background Checks

The initial job posting by Next Level Basketball Club indicates that all applicants are subject to a background check. This process entails reviewing an applicant’s criminal record, credit check, and verification of employment history (Weinstock, 2015). In other cases, the management considers checking the social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc to ensure that the selected potential employees are likely to represent the organization professionally. Similarly, Drug testing is also mandatory, according to the position.

Decision

After completing the background as well as a reference check, Next Level Basketball Club’s hiring staff selects their top choice (Fisher, Vance & Olsen, 2020). What’s more, the hiring team also selects a backup candidate in case the top candidate declined the offer or concessions fail to produce a signed contract. If the applicant meets the hiring criteria the HR manager determines whether or not to commence with the hiring process. If other members of the hiring panel agree, then a date is set for hiring the chosen candidates.

Reference Check

Reference Checks pertain to the verification of any pertinent information discussed by the applicant regarding precious employment on matters concerning workplace conduct, responsibilities, experiences, job performance, etc (Ellis, Skidmore & Combs, 2017). The typical question that the hiring team at the Next Level Basketball Club comes up with is, “Should we hire this individual?”

Job Offer

Once the hiring team identifies the top candidates, the management then extends an initial offer. This document includes terms and conditions of the organization, company equipment, working remotely policy, potential severance pay, start date, paid time off, leaves, and position salary. In case the hired employee disagrees on certain terms, negotiations take center stage (Ellis, Skidmore & Combs, 2017). With this, the hiring team needs to determine internally the specific elements in the offer letter that are negotiable and those that are not. Usually, many selected employees focus on the following topics, working remotely, flexible work schedule, and salary.

Hiring

After successive negations, owing to the acceptance of the stipulated terms, the candidate is hired. The accepted offer letter then recommends the participants to fill out paperwork that is related to the employment process (Fisher, Vance & Olsen, 2020). The form, as well as paperwork, might include:

  • Form 1-9 and E-Verify
  • The company’s employee handbook
  • A checklist containing all required paperwork to be filled by new employees
  • State withholdings as well as registrations
  • Form W-4

Assimilating a new employee into the organization does not conclude the hiring process. Onboarding the new worker in a professional and welcoming way will aid to integrate them in a style that lays the ground for both long-term and short-term productive relationships between them and the management. At Next Level Basketball Club, a welcome letter is usually sed. After this, the management reaches out to the new employee before he or she starts working in the organization (Weinstock, 2015). The management ensures that the new employee’s working space is prepared through cleaning and equipping it with the necessary tools and credentials. If an orientation is featured in the on-boarding process, the employee is familiarized with the expectations and the scheduling of the upcoming events. Lastly, the company assigns every new employee with a mentor who will aid them to settle into the organization and their new positions as well as s then up to focus on achieving the set goal.
