In the early 1930’s the United States needed to make a decision in regard to “Should the USA participate in the Berlin Olympics?”. With the changing political climate that later spread throughout Europe, nations around the world needed to make a statement in opposition of the growing dark cloud of the Nazi regime. The film “RACE” depicts the story of Olympian Jesse Owens (highlighted throughout our textbook) and his journey through the early years of adulthood leading up to the 1936 Olympic Games.
For this first video reflection, watch the movie “RACE” (2016), starring Stephan James and Jason Sudeikis, and complete the assignment requirements listed below as a 12-point, Times New Roman font, double-spaced Word document.
