One of them emerged as a leader who provided practical and spiritual guidance for them when they faced death. The baptism "coffin" (as they called it) was built by a Navy Seabee from scraps of wood. link: http://youtu.be/4_R1xOI1n28

Answer

Situations when Jesus used whatever other than baptism

The biblical stories record instances when Jesus used water to perform various functions and rituals. Apart from baptism, Jesus used water to wash and clean his disciples’ feet during the last supper (Fesko, 2013). He did this as a sign of humility and service to others. It was also a sign of cleaning the disciples of their sins and making them pure in spirit before they partook of the last supper. Also, Jesus turned water into wine during a wedding when the wine was over, signaling the love he had and God had for humanity (Fesko, 2013). It also symbolized the fact that Jesus is a caring God. Jesus also walked on water to demonstrate to his disciples that he had power of nature.

Meaning of baptism

All Christian denominations engage in baptism. For Catholics, they baptize children to redeem them from their original sins they had before birth and to welcome them to the catholic faith (Wood, 2017). For Lutherans, they baptize people to incorporate them into the body of Christ that died and resurrected on the third day. They also baptize infants because they believe it was mandated by God (Hegstad, 2017). For Baptists, baptism does not necessarily imply salvation but they only do it out of obedience to biblical teachings. The Presbyterians believe that baptism welcomes the baptized into God`s church and it acts as a sign of seal and covenant.

Does it matter how one is baptized

The role of baptisms is preserved for those who are ordained by God in the church. It matters that the marines were baptized by their peer and not a clergy because such peer was not ordained. I think the type of baptism they partook was out of fear of imminent death, considering that they were in combat and that anything could happen to any of them. Their baptism communicated that God can save any person anywhere regardless of their profession and station in life.

Does the context of danger matter?

The context of danger does not matter when it comes to baptism. God does not care that one is saved in the last minute of their life. For instance, the bible records the story of the thief on the right side of the cross who confessed his sins before he died and acknowledged God. Jesus said that he would make it to heave (Wood, 2017). There is no difference in baptism whether upon imminent danger out of rocket attack or on the safety of American soil.

moderator or interviewer that was involved (Moon 2019). Similarly, concerns ensue with the findings’ validity with respect to the sample size that was used. With the small sample size that Sewdas et al.’s (2017) study employed, there are very little room for generalizing the study’s findings.
