This paper is a case study on a field study that was conducted at Big Brothers Big Sisters Santa Cruz, a youth empowerment nonprofit organization. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the provided field notes and conduct research (with the sources I provide) to help analyze and synthesize the research question states in the topic; “How does the absence of comprehensive support and resources for marginalized youth on a macro level impact the effectiveness of youth empowerment programs, specifically focusing on the mentorship relationships provided by the nonprofit organization in question?”
