Answer
The Role of Healthcare Delivery in Patient Outcomes
As competition intensifies within the health care system, service quality, and patient satisfaction provides the evidentiary basis for the patient outcome. A facility that has ensured good health care delivery in my area is the Breath mobile clinic. Specifically, mobile clinic is a health care program that aims at reaching all people including individuals living in the remote areas (Newhouse et al., 2011). In most cases, it is in a motorcar equipped with specific healthcare tools and can move from point to another while offering health services.
Notably, the Breath Mobile clinic provides several services. However, in my area, it is predominantly meant to provide vaccination services to particular viral diseases such as polio to young ones. Besides the primary duty of immunization, it also provides services for minor injuries and diseases (Rissanen et al., 2010). The mobile clinic has about six professional nurses that are specialized in vaccination and immunization of viral diseases. Therefore, it is small in size. Breath operates under the divisional structure where it gets instructions from the main hospital. In that regard, all the equipment and staffs are sourced from the central hospital. The mobile clinic only deals with outpatient; however, it may admit few cases before they are taken to the main hospital when the condition of the patient is critical. Mainly, it can offer only a maximum of three beds.
Notably and paramount, all nurses operating the facility are all Registered Nurses (NR). While one has MSN: a master of science with a nursing focus, others have BSN: a bachelor of science with a nursing concentration and ADN: an associate degree with a nursing concentration (Song et al., 2013). They do not offer the acute care in this facility. What surprised me is the design and how the motorcar is equipped to provide medical service. In fact, this facility is a smaller version of a complete hospital.
