Answer

Transformational Leadership

I have worked for many organizations and interacted with leaders at various levels. In my understanding, a good leader exhibit calmness even in the most stressful situations. That is, team members must look up to him or her to provide direction and hope. Leaders should be flexible to change, especially when it directly affects the performance of the team and operation processes. Nonetheless, good leaders must motivate and encourage followers to do their best and realize individual and organization objectives. A leader should be understanding and trustworthy. Followers want someone they can confide and believe in.

Primarily, four crucial values make a leader transformational. They include being a role model, having inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual considerations (Alqatawenh, 2018). Others would perceive me as a transformative leader. However, I would still need to work on the aspects of the leadership style. I am concerned with the well-being and development of others. I feel responsible for my team’s growth and leadership development. Besides, I am interested in knowing what affects other people's performance and finding a lasting solution that improves their work performance. I understand the importance of change and its influence on organizations. Thus, I am flexible to changes that encourage team members' positive operations and productivity.

I believe that the TEACH values are essential, and I would want my team members to practice most of them. The main acronyms that I find most important to me are A and C. I believe that accountability is essential for both leaders and team members. The community enables the sharing of a sense of shared responsibility among the unit members.
