ESTJs can be tough-minded goal setters, and these qualities are rewarded in management and administrative positions. My TypeFocus (2021) personality is described as Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging (ESTJ) personality type. ESTJs are logical and can apply their logic to people, places, and things. There are renowned terrific managers and organizers and tend to pay attention to details. In addition, ESTJs do discipline themselves so as to make sure that their goals are met (TypeFocus, 2021). This implies that I can excel in the workplace in which one on my roles will be to organize projects, people, and operations. In order to perform organizing roles, I ought to be in control and holding a management position to enable me to have power and authority to enforce policies and procedures and make important decisions.
My personality type fits with my desired job responsibilities as well as my future plans. For instance, I would like to start my career by working at Greenko Group as a resource strategist. I have interest in working in innovation, development and maintenance of renewable infrastructure and systems. I have interned with Greenko Group previously and I would like to go back to become one of the employees in the Group. As a resource strategist, I will likely be in position of power and control within the limits of my authority. In essence, being an ESTJ I would like to be in control of others and having the right to make decisions. I do not like to be instructed on everything to do and how to do it without having my thoughts and ideas put into practice. My proactive nature will enable me to develop my reputation quickly in the workplace since others may see me as dependable owing to my ability to complete tasks as requested and on time. My high level of reliability can, in no doubt, enable Greenko Group to being projects to completion within the limits of planned time and resources. I project that this strategy will propel me to take more senior positions in the corporate ladder with positive effects such as higher pay and more benefits.
My experience and savings derived from Greenko Group will propel me to start my own aviation company in five-years-time from the now. In this I will have to acquire flight skills through a four-month course, which will enable me to get a Private Pilot License (PPL). My plan is to get PPL while I will still be working at Greenko. Apart from my objective of getting my first entry job at Greenko Group, being a ESTJ I can also excel other organizations, industries, and specialties, where leadership abilities are highly valued and in demand. My TypeFocus (2021) results shows that I can success in teaching roles (but in the technical subjects), banking, military, and police work. This broad range of careers to choose from will enable me to get substantial capital to start my own aviation company. I am eager to take full responsibly on my own aviation company once I establish it. Being a leader in my own aviation company would keep me full satisfaction as I bring my own small projects to completion that would drive growth and expansion of my company.
In conclusion, my personality type is ESTJ and my ideal workplace is that in which I will lead, make decisions, and wield my power and control over others. The primary objective will be to see completion of tasks and projects in time within limits of available resources and planned time. I will be able to executive my leadership abilities if I start my own aviation company but I have to have an entry job first in company of my interest for me to get enough start-up capital.
