This image shows a number of women fighting for their rights through protest. More advertently, the image shows Americans who have had a rough share of the systemic oppression that is engrossed in the American society. Mostly, women of Muslim and Black communities occupy the centerpiece of the image, connotating their fight against oppression. The image further substantiates that the government oppresses its citizens in particular women, and they are not regarded effective and important within the American community. The sign that is held up shows their grievances of the women in the picture, as they protest for Black lives, women rights, against oppression, and peaceful coexistence within the American society as highlighted by the colors of the national flag in the banner.

This second image shows a group of Native Americans with a statement written: “We Lived in this Continent Before it was Discovered.” The image substantiates the systemic and continuous oppression of the Native American people, who claim to have been there long before the continent was “discovered”. It would be easy to identify the individuals on the photo as native Indians due to their clothing and their claim to have been there long before Olympus. By all means, the picture suggests that the natives are not well treated within their own land.
