Thus, there is need for training of doctors and other supportive health practitioners to keep up with the emerging trends in health care. Doctors are exposed to various injuries while conducting their responsibilities. Therefore, it is important to have sufficient insurance cover for doctors to protect doctors. Sufficient protective gear should be provided to doctors, especially when they are conducting sensitive operations, or dealing with patients with contagious diseases. In some case, frontline doctors have suffered severe conditions, and some have died due to the diseases they acquired from patients they attended. For instance, this has been witnessed during Ebola and COVID-19 outbreaks.
The provision of health services is involving, and sometimes doctors and other support staff maybe required to working over-time. Thus, health care organization can enhance fairness by ensuring that they make a suitable work schedule that does not strain health care providers. Fairness is also ensured on payment. People should be paid based on their contribution to the organization and other responsibilities assigned to them. For instance, a nurse in charge should not be paid as a regular nurse without any other responsibility. Nonetheless, the payment for the doctors and staff should correspond to the prevailing market rates to ensure fairness in pay as dictated by the market demand. Primarily, improving clinical support for doctors increases efficiency and quality care. Besides, fair treatment results to increased commitment and productivity among doctors and other support staff.
