Where I Would Like to Take a Vacation

Good morning ladies and gentlemen!! I would like to start by introducing myself to you. I am Doe Joe, and I take pride in adventure. Without further ado, I would like to go straight to my topic, which is “where I would like to take a vacation”. I know that by now most of you are thinking about flashy places like Miami, Florida, and so forth, but let me tell you that none of these is in my mind. I am thinking about Africa, and Zanzibar to be specific! Why Zanzibar? Probably, this is the question that most of you here are asking themselves. Well, I will not beat about the bush, but I will tell you five reasons why I consider Zanzibar a top destination for my vacation.

Yes, about two weeks ago, my friends and I were having a discussion about top tourist destinations with a perfect blend of cultural mix. Well, it did not come as a surprise when two of my friends mentioned Zanzibar. If any of you wants to take a vacation to a place rich in culture, then Zanzibar is definitely one of the best choices. Zanzibar undoubtedly mirrors a cultural mix of individuals that emerged from the ages of trade relations with various countries including Africans, Europeans, Indians, Arabs and Persians. This list is long and it may take me the whole day to finish! This takes me to the second reason why I would choose Zanzibar over all other places for a vacation. Ladies and gentlemen, talk about vibrant culture and fascinating history! Well, Zanzibar is your remedy! This magnificent holiday destination is specially steeped in vibrant culture and rich history. Sounds amazing? Well, I want to bring to your notice that this archipelago or as some of you may call it, an extensive group of island, has been inhabited for a period of over 20,000 years. I know this sounds crazy, but I want to add that the position of Zanzibar has made it a major port. Just pay a visit to this beautiful destination and you will learn more concerning its intriguing history. And if all this is not enough for anyone to consider visiting this place, then let me add the third reason why I prefer Zanzibar as the ultimate destination for my vacation. Wow!! Think about scenic and pristine beaches! Well, then Zanzibar is on the top of the list. This splendid island offers pristine, as well as scenic beaches and this, without any doubt, makes any visitor to get even comfier. It’s not about one or two, or even three beaches, but a range of beaches from which visitors can choose. These beaches are not only many, but are also exquisitely fabulous and clean. I have heard about this from most of my friends who have been to this uniquely special place!

Ladies and gentlemen, if these reasons are not enough to convince any of you to consider visiting Zanzibar for a vacation, then no reason in this planet will. As I conclude, I just want to thank of all you for paying attention to my talk. Even as I leave the floor, I want to stress that I cannot wait to visit Zanzibar and enjoy the serene lagoons, relax by the beach, go surfing and explore the captivating surroundings in this place.
